Clash of the Titans Review

So today on Easter Sunday I decided to go and see Clash of the Titans even though everyone I have talk to said it was not that great of a movie. Overall the movie was a let down, the trailers made the movie seem like an epic movie, which it was not.

Clash of the Titans is about the Gods of Olympus and the people of the Greece who begin to wage war on each other. The Gods need the humans prayers for immortality. But the humans start to not trust the Gods so they begin not to pray and the Gods begin to become angry with humans.

Humans were created by the King of the Gods, Zeus, played by Liam Neeson.

Before humans were created by the Gods they fought against the all powerful Titans. The main three gods: Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon were children of Titans. They then destroyed the Titans.

The Titans were destroyed by a creation made by one of the gods: Hades, played by Ralph Fiennes who was asked by Zeus to create a creature, the creature is known as the Kraken.

Which is actually incorrect, and the thing I hated most about Clash of the Titans. If you are going to do a movie based on Greek Mythology at least get the Mythology right. In Greek Mythology it is not the Kraken that defeats the Titans but Zeus, which is how he becomes the King of the Gods.

The movie continues on with a boy found at sea who becomes a fishermen and then later finds out he is the son of Zeus. The boy's name is Perseus, played by Sam Wortington.

The acting overall was okay, the only worthy person was Ralph Fiennes who is always good at whatever role he plays.

Action was strong spot for the movie as well, if the story and acting was a let down the action somewhat redeemed it.

Also another weak point is that Perseus is able to kill the Kraken by using Medusa's head. LAME

Overall this movie is a........ see only if you have nothing else to do.
